Scheduled classes
I regularly run classes in
decorative art painting techniques in the Lincoln area. These public classes are very cost-effective
and a great way to meet new friends. I currently have classes scheduled for both beginners and improvers. See the timetable below for
more information.

| Folk Art - Beginners |
| Six classes starting Monday 19 January 2009, 10.00am to 1.00pm |
|
A full six week course for those new to Decorative Folk Art, running on Monday mornings from 19 January 2009.
During the six weeks you will complete four or five projects on various blanks ending with a greetings card and a beautiful rooster plaque.
You will learn:
- how to load your brush
- blending of colours
- techniques to produce basic strokes
- combining basic strokes to paint leaves, rosebuds, poppies, sunflowers and more
- use of different mediums to create effects
- care of brushes
The class fee covers all equipment and materials used in the class, and brushes and paints will be available at a discounted price so that you can continue to practice at home.

| Folk Art - Improvers |
| Six classes starting Tuesday 20 January 2009, 10.00am to 1.00pm |

A full six week course for those who already have some experience with Decorative Folk Art, running on Tuesday mornings from 20 January.
During the six weeks we will build on the basics previously learned and move on to more advanced work. As usual we will use new paints and mediums where
appropriate to create different effects and faux finishes.
The cost of the course includes use of brush basins, paints & other mediums.
Please bring your own brushes, palettes, paper towels, practice paper and dark
A4 card to build your portfolio on. Cards can be black, dark green or dark blue.
